ABOUT OKAMI

 

​Okami was quirkless until his last year of junior high. The power is dubbed Sleepwalker, and is a 20-foot tall shadow wolf that is autonomous in REM sleep but can be controlled by Okami when lucid dreaming. It is a separate entity from himself that covers his body when active, like Tokoyami’s dark shadow. Difficulties ensued for the young Okami as he battled through learning how to cope with a sudden new and dangerous power, as well as exploring his identity as trans - which his abusive mother did not agree with. On one particular night while rampaging through the streets, Sleepwalker had found himself at the foot of Izuku Midoriya’s door.
